Quasi started out originally as Mother Collective but due to copyright issues they were forced to change name. They quickly became Quasi as a great alternative. Quasi Skateboards is largely built around Jake Johnson and Gilbert Crockett, which both came out of the ashes of the Alien Workshop demise. They joined forces with the former Alien Team manager, Chad Bowers to form Quasi.
Portraying the artistic creativity that is lurking in the minds of many skateboarders, it inspires their graphical output, producing videos, such as the recent 'Mother' release featuring Justin Henry, Tyler Bledsoe, Josh Wilson, Al Davis, and Dick Rizzo alongside Jake and Gilbert. Also, a recent Vans shoe collab consolidated their standing as one of the leading creative skate brands of today.
